New: Food for Thought from Young at Arts

The LEAF Partnership • Leeds Grand Theatre & City Varieties • Northern Ballet • Opera North • Phoenix Dance Theatre • West Yorkshire Playhouse • Yorkshire Dance • invites you:

We are looking for people aged 55+ to join Young At Arts and The Real Junk Food Project to share their experiences and memories of cooking.

We want to hear about: your favourite meal, the dish you cook the best and your worst family dinner experience. Can you make someone love you by cooking for them?

During the workshops we will eat our way through your memories with a specially prepared meal!

Christian Watson, Young At Arts staff and volunteers will host the evening and afterwards the stories and recipes will be put together as a book, exhibition and performance.

Christian Watson is a writer and performer currently living in Bradford. He has performed his poetry across the UK and was the 2010 Canterbury Literary Festival Slam Champion.

If transport is a problem, we can help organise and pay for you to get here. To discuss that, or your access needs, let us know…
