URGENT: LCF’s Small Funds ‘Funding Information Session’ is tomorrow

Funding Information Session tomorrow – Thursday, 2 June 2016 from 10:00 to 11:45 at Woodhouse Community Centre

(Doreen Tinker Room 197 Woodhouse Street, Leeds, LS6 2NY) to give background to Time to Shine and the overall aims of the Small Funds, including which groups are eligible and how to apply.

The session will also introduce the theme for Round Two: Men and provide an opportunity to have informal discussions about your ideas, network with other people interested in this area and answer questions you may have.

This funding is for community, voluntary and faith organisations who have not previously been funded through Time to Shine. Applications can be between £5,000 and £10,000 and should address the needs of those socially isolated older people who find it hardest to access support due to geography, mobility, culture, poverty or other factors, for activity that increases resilience or builds networks which enable older people to maintain and develop their social opportunities and networks.

Older people are at the heart of everything that happens in Time to Shine, so we encourage projects to think widely about their involvement in all elements of your project; design, delivery and evaluation.

PROCESS: for full details of what we can and cannot fund, or to apply, go to Time to Shine Small Funds –http://www.leedscf.org.uk/time-to-shine/

The deadline for Round Two is Friday 8th July 2016.
