Time to Shine Legacy: Lychee Red Celebrates Three Years

The Time to Shine project Lychee Red celebrated three years of connecting and supporting Chinese seniors in Leeds, and we were thrilled to be invited to the celebrations.

It was a great chance to reflect on how much the project has accomplished and thank all the wonderful volunteers who have made the work possible.

A representative from the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Manchester attended to pass on their thanks for what the project has done for Chinese people in Northern England, and to wish Lychee Red much success in the future.

The day also featured a traditional Chinese lion dance, singing of all varieties, and of course a lovely lunch with a little something for everyone.

Even though Lychee Red’s Time to Shine funding has come to an end, Health for All is continuing the project with other support and will continue to build on everything they learned over the course of their Time to Shine delivery.

We are so excited to see the seeds that were planted flourish and expand like this; congratulations to everyone who has been involved!
