Age Friendly Charter

In October 2016, Time to Shine published an Age Friendly Charter for the city of Leeds. Time to Shine developed this Charter in consultation with nearly 200 older people all over the city, as well as with the Ageing Well Board and the Making Leeds the Best City to Grow Old In Breakthrough Project. A full report on the process accompanies the Charter.

A steering group formed in January 2017 to help move the Charter forward. We meet monthly in Leeds city centre to identify priorities and develop strategies for bringing those priorities to life. If you or someone you know might like to join the group, please get in touch with Jude Woods (see details below).

If you or your organisation would like to sign up to the Charter, please email Jude. If you can, include a jpeg or png of your logo. Jude will add you to the list of committed organisations and send you a printed copy to display.
