Time to Shine is a programme, led by older people, that aims to reduce loneliness and social isolation in people over the age of 50. These are major issues, not fully understood, and our job is to learn what makes a difference. The programme is now just over half way, in its’ fourth year of delivery.
Time to Shine works in partnership to deliver activities, training and campaigns across Leeds that celebrate and promote positive ageing. What we learn will help older people live fulfilling lives now and in the future.
Key duties of the post include:
- Creating and developing the legacy of the programme
- Working with key stakeholders to ensure the programme influences decision makers and promotes systems change
- Staff and operational management
LOPF is the lead organisation for Time to Shine working with a number of partner organisations and older people to deliver this exciting and ambitious programme until 2021.
LOPF has been operating for 24 years and has strong leadership from our Trustees who are older people and representatives from our 100+ member organisations.
