Local organisations apply for between £5,000 and £10,000 for a 12-month project to help understand how to reduce social isolation and loneliness. There are two funding rounds per year with a different theme in each round.
Leeds Community Foundation has developed an easy and accessible application process for small funds (£5,000-£10,000) to be awarded to local organisations working to address social isolation. This project will focus specifically on groups not already being supported by Leeds Older People’s Forum or Time to Shine, thus expanding the reach and diversity of the overall programme. LCF wants to reach those creative grassroots organisations that just need some financial capital to get their dynamite ideas off the ground. LCF has a wealth of resources in awarding funds to diverse organisations and are passionate about building on the great assets of Leeds. Organisations will be able to pilot and develop ideas, learn from their own and others’ experience and then share the learning with the larger community.
See Leeds Community Foundation's website, for details of forthcoming rounds, and for other funding opportunities.
