Cook, Eat, Chat

Cook, Eat, Chat offers six weekly sessions where participants will learn about the importance of good nutrition, hydration, tips for cooking for one, as well as having a chance to make friends over a great meal.

The sessions will be led by a qualified chef from the Leeds Cookery School and will be supported by one of the Zest Community Development Workers who will offer relevant support, help and advice to attendees such as how to stay warm in winter and signposting to additional activities in the area.

As with their other activities, Zest will address the need for relevant activities for participants by encouraging co-production. Attendees will be encouraged to help with the running of the group by giving their input into the planned menus, helping to set up in preparation for the sessions, and offering ongoing feedback about what they want out of the sessions.
